Sounds like your company is more progressive than most.  Measuring MTBF is a true measure of where your organization is headed. Most people do not want to measure MTBF because they are afraid of the truth or there people do not have the discipline to manage data properly. I developed an MTBF Users Guide because so many people were struggling with…[Read more]

    Dale,
Thanks, this is what I have seen. A serious focus needs to be on the development of a lean proactive asset reliability process.
The reason reliability is missed by most Lean and Six Sigma initiatives is that most companies have more opportunity in the production area as it relates to value however they soon find reliability can become a…[Read more]

  • Send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the sample FMEA. The process to attach on this forum is too hard.

I have done a lot of work in the field of reliability for over 30 years. A great website to gain more…[Read more]

  • If anyone would like a sample FMEA please send me an email. I would also recommend you read an article recently published in Plant Services Magazine titled “Reliability is worth a second look”. Go to:  http://www.plantservices.com/articles/2006/136.html to view the article. Have a great day.
