Which software tools are good to build a metrcic and management dash board? we’re doing a metrics drilldown (starting from strategy all the way to individual employees) using balanced score card and six sigma
We need a good software tool that can support things like easy control charting, status tracker, DMAIC project tracker is prefeerable along with data analysis capability.0July 29, 2007 at 10:17 pm #59128Dave:

be notified via email. Why would you use Minitab for this? Minitab is great for analysis but is not much good for creating dashboards and monitoring process improvements linked to sigma scorecards etc.
I would recommend you create a simple Access or Excel template suite that includes: –
1) Sigma and yield tracker
2) Y and X control template
You’ll find this much easier to sell to those who will have to monitor processes over time. I accept that building control templates in Excel is not easy but can be done quite well with a bit of VBA to highlight special causes etc.
