BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. (December 6, 2010) –iSixSigma, the leading provider of content for the Lean Six Sigma community, is searching for engaging speakers for its third annual Energy Forum for Process Excellence, May 16-19 in Houston, USA.
The purpose of the forum is to bring together business leaders who are charged with improving their organization’s performance through proven methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma.
The diversity of the energy sector, which extends from oil and gas to renewables, from upstream to downstream, and from storage and transportation to marketing and distribution, offers a wealth of opportunities for business process improvements. Those improvements are managed by thousands of leaders and employees who share a common goal – doing more with less.
“As varied as energy segments are, commonalities are recognized, respected and shared at the annual Energy Forum,” said Katie Barry, publisher of iSixSigma.
iSixSigma is looking for presentations from experienced professionals on the following aspects related to energy and process excellence:
- Application of methodologies, such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, Kaizen, Work-out and Systematic Innovation
- Successes and lessons learned with deployment strategies
- Culture change and CI program management
- Project example case studies
Speaker proposals will be reviewed by an Advisory Panel of industry experts from Chevron Corp., Halliburton, Hess Corp., Marathon Oil Corp. and Reliant Energy. Submitters will be notified of their speaking proposal status in January.
