Houston, Texas (April 19, 2011) – A free workshop for executives detailing the critical role of change management in a Lean Six Sigma deployment is scheduled for May 16 at the third annual Energy Forum for Process Excellence.

The workshop is a complimentary session within the four-day energy forum produced by iSixSigma Live! and presented by SSA & Company. The conference runs May 16-19 at The Westin Oaks in Houston.

In “Change Management: The Cornerstone to a Successful LSS Implementation,” attendees will learn about a key factor that impacts the success of a deployment. Often, leaders fail to realize that if they do not get at the heart of changing their culture to embrace Lean Six Sigma as a means to execute their work, they will not achieve the full benefit Lean Six Sigma can deliver. Failure to make change management a cornerstone of a deployment plan to assist in the culture change will inhibit companies from reaching their potential.

This workshop will benefit leaders of those organizations that are exploring the options of implementation, in the early stages of an implementation or have been implementing for years. It will begin with the basics of understanding Lean Six Sigma and move through the key factors of an implementation that should be encompassed in a change model. The presenter, Bob Silvers, managing director with SSA & Company, will share examples of best practices and provide case study examples.

Professionals can register for the free workshop at: http://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=909310
