Juran Institute & Wexi, Inc. of South Korea Sign Strategic Alliance Agreement

August 9, 2005 – A strategic alliance agreement has been signed by Juran Institute’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Joseph A. De Feo, and Ho-Jin Hwang, President of Wexi Inc., a rapidly growing South Korean provider of innovative quality management services, to expand the portfolio of both firms in the Asia Pacific region.
Both executives stressed that Juran Institute’s pioneering developments and proven experience in breakthrough performance processes in combination with Wexi’s (pronounced WEKSAI) quality innovation services will increase the availability of world class competitive capabilities for a wider range of organizations throughout Asia.
Wexi’s hands-on approach with Six Sigma methodologies, business innovation, organization and human capital development services serves Korean and Chinese companies on a long-term basis with processes to improve the quality and efficiency of their operations. Wexi has four offices in Seoul and Kumi in South Korea and Shanghai and Nanjing in China.
Mr. Hwang and Mr. De Feo said the combined services of their firms will provide a much greater range of resources such as training and implementation processes to an increased number of organizations in all industries throughout Asia to improve and sustain virtually everything they do.
